Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Submarine Electrical Engineer to join the Electrical Systems Branch of the In-Service Submarine Systems Engineering Division in Washington, D.C. The role focuses on technical leadership for U.S.

Navy submarine systems, including monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting to support fleet readiness. Requires an active DoD Secret clearance, US citizenship, and a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance or interim Secret clearance requires eligibility.
• US Citizenship required.
• Experience in DoD/Armed Services or similar environment (5 years).
• Intermediate proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop/review operation and technical documentation (PMP, PMS, DFS, LARs, SEPM).
• Review engineering drawings on-site and provide recommendations.
• Provide briefs and technical input for decision makers.
• Coordinate IPTs and participate in design/engineering reviews.
• Oversee CBM and RCM practices across in-service submarine classes.
• Plan and manage engineering development programs and lifecycle sustainment.
