E-Logic, Inc. is seeking an experienced Shock Test Technician to support Navy shock testing activities in a Survivability Laboratory in Newport, RI.

The technician will prepare, execute, monitor, and document shock tests using Navy shock test equipment and instrumentation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating both Linear-Biaxial Impact Machine (LBIM) and Medium Weight Shock Machine (MWSM) systems and be experienced in collecting and documenting test data in accordance with

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of total professional experience.
Minimum 5 years of LBIM testing experience.
Minimum 5 years of MWSM testing experience.
Hands-on experience with Navy shock testing equipment and instrumentation.
Experience collecting, documenting, and reporting test data.
Ability to work on-site in Newport, RI.

Responsibilities

Perform Navy shock testing using LBIM and MWSM systems.
Prepare test setups, test articles, instrumentation, and associated equipment.
Operate and monitor shock test equipment throughout testing activities.
Install, verify, and troubleshoot test instrumentation and data acquisition equipment.
Collect, record, and validate test data during and after testing.
Monitor test conditions and ensure procedures are followed.
Identify and document test anomalies, equipment issues, and deviations.
Assist with test preparation and laboratory readiness.
Prepare detailed test records, data packages, and technical test reports.
Support engineering in the analysis and interpretation of test results.
Follow Navy, laboratory, safety, and quality-control procedures.
Perform other testing and technical support duties as assigned.
