Job summary

E-Logic, Inc. seeks an experienced Shock Test Technician to support Navy shock testing activities in a Survivability Laboratory in Newport, RI.

The technician will prepare, execute, monitor, and document shock tests using Navy equipment and instrumentation. The ideal candidate has hands-on LBIM and MWSM experience, is proficient in collecting and documenting test data, and can ensure procedures and safety standards are followed during on-site testing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years total professional experience in shock testing.
• 5+ years LBIM testing experience.
• 5+ years MWSM testing experience.
• Experience collecting, documenting, and reporting test data.
• On-site work in Newport, RI.

Responsibilities

• Perform Navy shock testing using LBIM and MWSM systems.
• Prepare test setups, instrumentation, and associated equipment.
• Operate and monitor shock test equipment throughout testing activities.
• Install, verify, and troubleshoot test instrumentation and data acquisition equipment.
• Collect, record, and validate test data during and after testing.
• Monitor test conditions and ensure procedures are followed.
