HII’s Mission Technologies division is seeking a Project Manager to lead the SEMAT EQOL team in San Diego, CA, overseeing maintenance and maintenance training for shipboard galley, scullery, laundry and mess-decks equipment on US Navy surface ships. You will coordinate with Navy Port Engineers, ship leadership, and project teams to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.

Qualificações

• 4 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 2 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 8 years relevant progressive experience.
• Must have at least eight (8) years experience in aircraft carrier or surface ships as applicable HM&E engineering.
• Have at least five (5) years experience in coordinating and supervising personnel effort in accomplishing shipboard HM&E repairs.
• Must have at least two (2) years involved with practical aircraft carrier or surface ships as applicable maintenance availability, procedures, work integration, administration and maintenance scheduling.
• At least four (4) years experience in administration of the Navy Quality Assurance Program, 3M and Supply systems.
• Must be able to obtain a DoD Confidential security clearance or higher.

Responsabilidades

• Lead SEMAT EQOL team with performing maintenance and maintenance training to assist shipboard personnel in the operation, maintenance and repair of shipboard galley, scullery, laundry, and mess-decks equipment.
• Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between Navy customers (Port Engineers and Ship’s Leadership), project management and planning, project team, and line management.
• Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
• Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
• Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
• Responsible for interfacing and managing subcontractors.
• Develops and uses technical documents including controlled work packages, formal work processes and procedures,testdocuments, reports and task or trip reports.
• Schedules, reports and briefs customers and senior management.
• May perform quality inspections on finished product.
