Job summary

Bristol Infrastructure Designs Services, LLC is seeking a Construction Manager to support NAVFAC at MCAS Beaufort, SC. The role emphasizes coordinating pre- and post-award meetings, reviewing submittals, and ensuring quality control across facilities.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in engineering or architecture, with 7+ years in CM/PM on large projects. A PE/RA is desirable but not required; security clearance/background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or architecture or construction management as specified in the job ad.
• Minimum seven years of CM/PM experience on large facilities or waterfront-related contracts >$5M.
• PE/RA registration is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate NAVFAC requirements to Contractor, Commands, and Agencies at multiple levels.
• Review pre-final drawings/specs for constructability and field conditions.
• Participate in pre-award/construction meetings and coordination sessions.
• Coordinate post-award meetings, kickoff, preconstruction, partnering, and inspections.
• Review contractor submittals (schedules, plans, shop drawings, O&M data) and recommend actions.
• Visit sites to monitor progress, review QC, and ensure contractor quality control per contract.
