Job summary

Serco is seeking a Navy Production Analyst to oversee daily conditions at HII Ingalls Shipyard in Pascagoula, MS. The role supports quality assurance on DDG 51 projects and requires the ability to obtain a DoW Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with shipbuilding personnel.
• Familiarity with ship design criteria and drawings.
• Experience applying QA protocols in production environments.
• Ability to interpret government regulations in QA plans.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Develops and applies QA protocols to inspect materials, equipment, and finished products.
• Reviews drawings and contract specs to aid QA plans.
• Ensures PO/contract changes are reflected in QA/production plans.
• Performs ship checks and verifies changes are implemented.
• Provides shipboard support to Program Management on hull/steel, piping, HVAC, and electrical labeling.
• Conducts Damage Control audits and resolves discrepancies.
• Validates shipboard implementation of contract changes.
• Generates ship check summaries for contract changes.
• Conducts shipboard safety and inspection activities.
• Verifies completion of hull, piping, and electrical installations.
