Job summary

R&P Technologies seeks an experienced Ship Production and Post-Delivery Analyst to support the PMS 500 program in San Diego, CA. The role involves coordinating maintenance and modernization status, planning final trials, and interfacing with waterfront teams and government stakeholders.

Qualified candidates will have 10+ years HM&E experience on Navy vessels, US citizenship, an active Secret clearance, and strong communication skills. Onsite work in a shipyard environment is required.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Active Secret clearance is required.
• Ability to travel up to 10% to support customer requirements.
• Minimum 10 years of HM&E systems experience aboard Navy vessels.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Diplomatic tact when interfacing with customers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software.
• Physically able to work in industrial shipyard environments, including ship underway time up to 1 week.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Production and PMR to report maintenance and modernization status aboard San Diego based ships.
• Support Final Contract Trials and Post-Repair Trial planning efforts.
• Lead coordination with waterfront teams, industry partners, crews, and government stakeholders.
• Record, track, code, and trend trial data and reports.
• Assist with INSURV preparations, crew training, and equipment validation.
• Provide recommendations on deficiency prioritization based on impact to operations.
• Provide onsite deck plate production support and assist with inspections and acceptance of contractor work.
• Identify risks and issues and pursue timely resolutions.
• Provide equipment validations and ship checks.
• Prepare written weekly progress reports.
• Lead technical discussions for internal and external project reviews.
• Maintain effective relationships with customers, stakeholders, subcontractors, and industry.
