Job summary

Serco is seeking a Project Manager to lead PORTS program initiatives in Middletown, RI, interfacing with the Program Manager, Navy customers, and project teams to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery of simulation-based training systems.

The role requires US citizenship and the ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance; a BS in a technical or management field and 5+ years of PM experience are needed. Travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Oversee and manage day-to-day operational aspects of ongoing projects.
• Review status of projects and budgets; review project work products; manage schedules and prepare status reports.
• Prepare data items in accordance with DoD requirements.
• Adhere to quality objectives, technical metrics, and schedules.
• Attend meetings and brief Serco management and Navy customers on project status.
• Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals.
• Participate in proposal activities for new projects.
