Serco Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the PORTS program for Navy training systems, based in Middletown, Rhode Island. You will lead cross‑functional teams, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure DoD compliance.

The role requires a US citizenship with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and at least 5 years of management experience including P&L exposure. Travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Candidate must be a US citizen with ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, applied science, or management.
• Minimum 5 years of management experience including profit and loss.
• Familiarity with software development projects.
• Solid experience using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MSProject).
• Travel up to 10%

Aufgaben

• Oversee day-to-day operational aspects of ongoing projects and act as liaison between Program Manager, Customer, and project team.
• Review project status and budgets; review work products; manage schedules and prepare status reports.
• Prepare data items in accordance with DoD requirements.
• Adhere to quality objectives, technical metrics, and schedules.
• Attend meetings and brief Serco management and Navy customers on project status.
• Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals.
• Participate in proposal activities for new projects.
