Job summary

Serco Inc. in Middletown, Rhode Island is seeking a Project Manager to lead the PORTS program and coordinate between the Program Manager, customer, and project team. You will guide schedules, budgets, and data deliverables to meet DoD requirements while driving quality and timeliness.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance eligibility, a relevant bachelor's degree, 5+ years of management experience, and proficiency with MS Office and software development projects. Travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
• Have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, applied science, or management
• Have a minimum of 5 years of management experience including profit and loss
• Be familiar with software development projects
• Have solid experience using Microsoft Office products (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MSProject)
• Travel up to 10%

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as liaison between Program Manager, Customer, and project team
• Review status of projects and budgets; review project work products; manage schedules and prepare status reports.
• Prepare data items in accordance with DoD requirements.
• Adhere to quality objectives, technical metrics, and schedules
• Attend meetings and brief Serco management and Navy customers on project status
• Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
• Participate in proposal activities for new projects
