Job summary

Serco is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead PORTS program efforts in Middletown, RI. You will coordinate between the Program Manager, customer, and project team, track schedules, budgets, and deliverables, and ensure DoD compliance and quality objectives.

The role requires a US citizen with the ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance, a Bachelor's in a relevant field, 5+ years of management experience (P&L), and familiarity with software development projects; travel up to 10% is

Qualifications

• US citizenship with ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, applied science, or management
• Minimum 5 years of management experience including profit and loss
• Familiar with software development projects
• Solid experience using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MSProject)
• Travel up to 10%

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operational aspects of ongoing projects and liaison between Program Manager, Customer, and project team
• Review project status and budgets; review work products; manage schedules and prepare status reports
• Prepare data items in accordance with DoD requirements
• Adhere to quality objectives, technical metrics, and schedules
• Attend meetings and brief Serco management and Navy customers on project status
• Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals
• Participate in proposal activities for new projects
