Curtiss-Wright Corporation is seeking a Project Engineer, Defense to lead engineering efforts for Navy Nuclear products, including valves and equipment. You will coordinate with planning, purchasing, manufacturing, quality, contracts, and programs to ensure on-time delivery and compliant designs.

The role requires a BS in Engineering (Mechanical or Nuclear) with preferred PE registration, and experience with design tools such as Mathcad, AutoCAD, and ANSYS. Domestic travel may be required.

Formación

• Four-year BS in Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Professional Engineering Registration or advanced degree preferred.
• Mathcad, AutoCAD, and ANSYS experience preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Provides timely support to contracts, programs, planning, purchasing, manufacturing, quality, and assembly departments from proposal through delivery.
• Supports bid and proposal activities for Navy Nuclear Products.
• Reviews purchase order technical requirements for compliance with proposed design.
• Interprets applicable specifications and codes for deliverables.
• Prepares design drawings and procedures to meet order requirements.
• Directs qualification test programs and testing contracted by Navy Nuclear Customer.
• Resolves technical issues during product flow from Engineering Release through shipment.
• Travels to customers/subvendors as required.
