Navy Region Southwest Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) seeks a skilled Survivor Support Specialist to assist wounded, ill, and injured service members and their families. Responsibilities include outreach, data reporting, and collaboration with Navy CNIC and DoD partners to enhance survivor outcomes and program effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • At least three years of progressively responsible specialized experience providing assistance and case management service to military family members.
  • Knowledge of DoD and DON survivor programs and services.
  • Experience with Defense Casualty Information Processing System and MS Office.

Responsibilities

  • Initiates contact with surviving family members and establishes cases for survivor services.
  • Coordinates long-term survivor assistance through community resources.
  • Documents survivor information and services in DoD data systems.
  • Maintains compliance with program standards and DoD guidance.
  • Plans outreach and training to raise survivor awareness.
