Job summary

Integrated Data Services is seeking a Data Engineer to support the Navy’s acquisition transformation by building scalable data pipelines and APIs in an IL-4/5 environment. You will own production pipelines, contribute to data products, and help establish reusable patterns for ingestion and delivery across multiple services.

You will work hands-on with acquisition and finance data, shape physical database design for performance and security, and collaborate on testing, reviews, and documentation

Qualifications

• Five+ years of relevant data engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in data science, CS, or related field.
• Strong SQL/PLSQL, Java, Python, and JSON skills.
• Experience building production ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Experience with REST APIs and data modeling.
• Active Secret clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate production data pipelines in SQL, PL/SQL, Java, and Python across Oracle/Talend/Apigee stack.
• Integrate acquisition and finance datasets into reusable data products.
• Develop data models and analytics datasets for enterprise reporting.
• Build and maintain REST API integrations for data exchange.
• Migrate data from legacy systems and monitor pipelines for performance.
• Implement data validation, quality checks, and governance.
