Ignite Digital is seeking a Data Engineer to design, implement, and optimize data systems that enable AI/ML applications for a Navy IT command. You will collaborate with AI/ML engineers to ensure scalable data processing and strong security.

The role supports the Naval Research & Development Establishment (NRDE) within the DASH IPT, delivering analytics across 15+ warfare centers and UARCs. Strong data architecture, governance and BI skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data management and analysis in corporate operations.
• 3+ years in data management, data analysis, and data visualization.
• 3+ years of BI experience designing dashboards, reporting with QLIK Advana.
• Experience designing varied data visualization techniques for different audiences.
• Experience with project planning, milestones, risk identification, collaboration, and stakeholder communication.
• Technical skills: Python, SQL, data modeling, APIs, data architecture.
• Knowledge of AI libraries.
• BS degree in relevant fields as listed in qualifications.

Responsabilités

• Analyze use cases and high-level requirements to define detailed data solution design and implementation.
• Analyze and refine enterprise metrics and business rules with stakeholders; identify data needs and sources.
• Establish and update data architectures/models, data standards, transformations, and integrations.
• Design, build, publish, refresh, and maintain reference materials defining terms, metrics, and business rules for analysts.
• Provide automation through development and deployment of modern software-intensive solutions.
