Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Contracts Manager for the Navy Systems team based in York, PA. This role involves managing contracts, ensuring compliance, and facilitating profitable negotiations while interacting with Navy and other stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience in contracts management, preferably in a DoD environment, and is knowledgeable about federal laws and regulations. The position offers a base salary of $140,000 – $180,000 plus bonuses.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience in contracts management or related roles.
• Experience in a Department of Defense contracting environment, preferably U.S. Navy.
• Knowledge of Federal laws, regulations, terms, and policies (FAR, DFARS, etc.).
• Strong proposal development and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and negotiate contracts ensuring compliance and customer satisfaction.
• Work with stakeholders to develop proposal strategies.
• Review and approve contractual documents.
• Communicate with management and engage with customers.
