Job summary

Serco is seeking an Acquisition Management Specialist in the Washington, DC area to support U.S. Navy acquisition programs involving cutting-edge systems and sensors.

You will join an integrated government-industry team and gain exposure to defense acquisition while building expertise in logistics, maintenance planning, and data management. The role requires an active DoD Secret clearance, US citizenship, a Bachelor's degree, and about 5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• US Citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in acquisitions/logistics or related fields.
• Ability to travel at least 10% of the time.
• Strong MS Office and data management skills.

Responsibilities

• Research defense acquisition logistics instructions and apply them to tasking.
• Support program office planning, briefing material, and records management.
• Update briefs, develop presentations, and track actions from meetings.
• Draft and coordinate purchase requisitions and input into systems.
• Assist in developing Acquisition Strategy, Plan, J&A, and SoWs.
• Collect and display program logistics data/metrics.
