Job summary

Tecolote Research, Inc. in Washington, DC is seeking a mid-level cost estimator to provide direct cost estimating and analysis support to the Department of the Navy (DON) SSP program. The role focuses on ICE development, CCE support, and analytical services for high-visibility DON initiatives.

The position requires 3+ years of DoD cost estimating, a bachelor's degree in a related field, and strong MS Office skills. DOE/MDAP experience and an active DoW secret clearance are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of DoD cost estimating experience
• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, engineering or related field
• 24 semester hours of quantitative coursework including calculus
• Experience supporting DoW acquisition programs; MDAP experience preferred
• Experience developing independent cost estimates and applying analytic methodologies
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Active DoW Secret Clearance preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide ICE development support and CCE development for DON MDAP milestones
• Conduct economic analyses, studies, data collection, industry analyses, and present findings to senior leaders in the DON
