Job summary

Fathom Robotics, based in San Diego, CA, seeks a 3-M Maintenance Coordinator to translate repair‑level analyses into Navy-standard maintenance documentation for a fleet of small USVs.

You’ll work directly with reliability engineers and the dashboard team, ensuring documentation matches Navy 3-M conventions or equivalent standards where 3-M does not apply, with travel to Ventura/Oxnard as needed.

Qualifications

• Direct, hands-on experience administering a Navy 3-M/PMS program.
• Working knowledge of MRC writing and formatting conventions and SKED scheduling logic.
• Comfort translating technical engineering findings into Navy-standard maintenance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Translate repair-level determinations into properly formatted Maintenance Requirement Cards (MRCs).
• Verify whether existing MIPs and MRCs exist for a hull or component before drafting new ones, including coordinating with ILS and submitting Technical Feedback Reports.
• Maintain short-term accountability tracking and longer-term maintenance outlook and planning reports per Navy conventions.
• Administer 3-M/PMS program documentation and maintenance tracking using SKED conventions or equivalent CMMS approach.
• Develop Technical Procedures Manuals aligning with Navy 3-M conventions and formatting.
• Coordinate with reliability engineering and dashboard teams to keep docs and scheduling aligned.
• Support COSAL alignment and provisioning conventions for small craft sustainment.
• Engage with Government stakeholders on 3-M program reviews and documentation acceptance.
