Job summary

Fathom Robotics in San Diego, CA, seeks a 3M Maintenance Coordinator to convert maintenance analyses into Navy-ready MRCs and tracking plans for a fleet of small uncrewed surface vessels. The role requires translating engineering findings into Navy-standard maintenance documentation and aligning with 3-M system conventions.

Travel to the Ventura/Oxnard area about twice a month is expected; the position offers full-time employment and eligibility for DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Direct, hands-on experience administering Navy 3-M/PMS programs.
• Working knowledge of MRC writing and formatting conventions and SKED scheduling logic.
• Comfort translating engineering findings into Navy-standard maintenance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Translate repair-level determinations into properly formatted Maintenance Requirement Cards (MRCs) following Navy 3-M conventions.
• Verify existence of MIPs and MRCs for hulls or components before drafting new ones with appropriate offices.
• Maintain short-term accountability tracking and longer-term maintenance outlooks aligned with Navy small craft conventions.
• Administer 3-M/PMS program documentation and tracking using SKED conventions or CMMS-based approaches for a fleet of small USVs.
• Develop Technical Procedures Manuals matching Navy 3-M conventions and formatting.
• Coordinate with reliability engineering and dashboard teams to align documentation, scheduling and status reporting.
• Support COSAL alignment and provisioning conventions for small craft sustainment.
• Engage with Government stakeholders on 3-M program reviews and documentation acceptance.
