AdvantEdge Technology, Inc. is seeking a Technical Application Specialist for an onsite role at NSWC PHD in Port Hueneme, CA.

The position requires producing technical documents and managing mission plans for ABD BMD missions, with extensive travel. The candidate should have a technical degree or significant Navy-system experience, strong MS Word and writing skills, and the ability to handle classified requirements and government clearances.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a technical field or 5+ years of related experience, or 7+ years of technical Navy-system experience without a degree.
• Experience producing high-level technical documents for Aegis-Based Defense (ABD) missions, including test plans and readiness assessments.
• Ability to interpret classified and unclassified requirements from SIPR net and other networks.
• Draft, review and update technical specifications with SMEs and Navy Test Officers.
• Develop and maintain detailed mission annexes for classified test missions; support mission execution and post-test reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support production of high-level technical documents for ABD missions.
• Coordinate classified and unclassified technical meetings and produce precise notes and action items.
• Use document management tools to track deliverables and ensure compliance with Navy and MDA standards.
• Streamline document production workflows to reduce errors and speed delivery of mission-critical documents.
• Assist with developing technical test plans for Aegis BMD and related trials across multiple missions.
• Maintain documentation integrity for classified, CUI, and unclassified materials.
