Job summary

JSL Technologies, Inc. in Port Hueneme, CA seeks a Naval Systems Integration & Sustainment Engineer to deliver full‑lifecycle systems engineering, hardware integration, test & evaluation (T&E), and fleet technical support for the MK 34 and MK 48 Gun Weapon Systems and the Naval Fires Control System.

You will lead land‑based lab testing at SWEF, perform shipboard installations and hardware harvesting, address obsolescence, and author critical engineering changes for active naval platforms while

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Willing to work in industrial labs, land-based test environments and onboard Navy vessels with travel as needed.
• Deep knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or computer engineering as applied to naval systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop test procedures and verify hardware/software across labs, land-based test sites, and ships.
• Provide remote and on-site support for OBTA requests and NFCS hardware harvesting and field installations.
• Author, review, and maintain Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and related documentation.
• Assess and mitigate DMSMS obsolescence for legacy hardware components.
• Validate Maintenance Requirement Cards and troubleshoot complex electromechanical interfaces.
• Support TPS, schedules, risk management, budgets, and Navy data calls.
