Job summary

JSL Technologies, Inc. seeks a GWS and NFCS Engineering Support Specialist in Port Hueneme, CA to provide systems engineering, hardware engineering, test and evaluation, lifecycle support, and fleet support for the MK 34 and MK 48 Gun Weapon Systems and the Naval Fires Control System.

The role involves testing in labs and on ships, document test results, and supporting engineering changes. Travel to shipboard environments may be required; applicants must be able to obtain/maintain a DoD security

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required with seven years of professional experience.
• Extensive knowledge in Mechanical, Electrical, and/or Computer Engineering.
• Experience with Navy weapons combat systems or related technical domains.

Responsibilities

• Provide systems engineering and test & evaluation support for MK 34, MK 48, and NFCS.
• Validate maintenance and review engineering/logistics reports.
• Develop test procedures and support Engineering Change Proposals.
