Job summary

Serco is seeking an Engineer in the Arlington, VA area to support Navy amphibious warfare programs. The role involves drafting and reviewing technical documentation, performing analyses, and coordinating with government and contractor teams.

You will manage data, track actions, and support testing across the lifecycle of LCU 1700 and 1610 class craft, with occasional shipyard or field office work and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• DoD Secret security clearance required or able to obtain.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• ABET‑accredited engineering degree or 5 years relevant experience.
• Proficient with MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project.
• Experience in shipyard or naval facilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic program management support: scheduling, tracking metrics, cost estimating.
• Draft, edit, and verify technical manuals, design reports, craft specifications.
• Support testing and evaluation of subcomponents and craft systems.
• Collaborate with government and contractor staff to brief leadership.
• Perform data analysis and present recommendations with charts.
• Maintain configuration management and documentation baseline.
