Job summary

TSC is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support NSWC Crane in Bloomington, IN. The role involves dissecting complex naval systems, documenting component-level details, and developing repeatable processes for sustainment, modernization, and lifecycle management.

The engineer will apply expert hardware skills to drive reliable outcomes and collaborate with government stakeholders. Responsibilities span BOM development, hardware documentation, test procedure design, and failure analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related engineering discipline with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD Clearance

Responsibilities

• Identify, remove, and categorize internal hardware components and subassemblies.
• Analyze system architecture, interconnects, signal paths, and functional hardware blocks.
• Develop BOMs and parts lists for each system.
• Document hardware configurations, component specs, cabling, connectors, and assemblies.
• Produce hardware test procedures and collaborate with test engineers to validate them.
• Support failure analysis, root-cause investigations, and lifecycle management.
