Job summary

Technology Service Corporation (TSC) seeks an Electrical Engineer to support NSWC Crane operations from Bloomington, IN. The role involves hardware-focused analysis, BOM creation, and lifecycle support for naval systems.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering (or related field) with internship/co-op experience or a Master’s degree and the ability to obtain a Secret DoD clearance. Responsibilities span design reviews, test procedures, and troubleshooting workflows.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 0+ years experience or a Master's degree.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, remove, and categorize internal hardware components and subassemblies.
  • Analyze system architecture, interconnects, signal paths, and functional hardware blocks.
  • Develop comprehensive BOM and parts lists for each system.
  • Document hardware configurations, components, cabling, connectors, and assemblies.
  • Produce hardware test procedures for system evaluation and verification.
  • Collaborate with test engineers to validate procedures.
  • Support acceptance test plans, diagnostic processes, and troubleshooting workflows.
  • Provide hardware-focused recommendations for repair or lifecycle support.
  • Support failure analysis and root-cause investigations.
  • Participate in design reviews with government stakeholders.
