Job summary

Technology Service Corporation in Bloomington, IN is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support NSWC Crane projects. You will dissect complex naval hardware, document component details, and develop repeatable processes for sustainment, modernization, and lifecycle management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or related field, with internship/co-op experience or a Master’s degree.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD Clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, remove, and categorize internal hardware components and subassemblies.
  • Analyze system architecture, interconnects, signal paths, and functional hardware blocks.
  • Develop comprehensive BOMs and parts lists for each system.
  • Document hardware configurations, components specs, cabling, connectors, and assemblies.
  • Produce hardware test procedures for evaluation and verification.
  • Collaborate with test engineers and technicians to validate procedures.
  • Support creation of acceptance test plans, diagnostic processes, and troubleshooting workflows.
  • Provide hardware-focused engineering recommendations for repair or lifecycle support.
  • Support failure analysis and root-cause investigations.
  • Participate in design reviews with government stakeholders.
