Job summary

Leonardo DRS is seeking a Designer for our Menomonee Falls, WI location to create moderately complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic designs using CAD and other systems. You will work on products, parts, subassemblies, and system configurations with emphasis on accuracy, tolerances, and documentation.

The role requires an Associate’s degree or equivalent and 2+ years in a related field, plus CAD experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in a related engineering/design role.
• Proactive, responsible and reliable professional.

Responsibilities

• Draw multiple views using CAD; depict component relationships, dimensions, tolerances and materials.
• Prepare bills of material, specifications, documentation, and process Engineering Change Orders.
• Ensure drawing quality and functionality by assisting prototypes, testing, and analyzing results.
• Collaborate with engineers to resolve issues and adhere to company policies.
