Job summary

KMS Solutions, LLC is seeking a SWFTS Modernization Support Program Analyst to support the In-Service Strategic Submarines Program Office (PMS 396) at the Washington Navy Yard, DC. You will help ensure acquisition, sustainment, and operability of in-service submarines, including Ohio and future Columbia classes.

The role requires at least 7+ years in the submarine field, experience briefing senior leaders, and a Bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

7+ years in related positions within the submarine force or submarine industry.
Experience briefing senior military and government leadership (admirals/generals/SES).
Bachelor’s degree. Experience may be qualifying in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of SWFTS Ship alterations including scheduling and coordination with maintenance facilities and contractors.
Provide engineering and technical support for oversight, analysis, and review of submarine modernization management and planning.
Update submarine modernization and installation planning documents.
Coordinate with stakeholders to gain updated information.
Maintain modernization documentation (JCFs, SARs, A&Is, SIDs, LARs, GFI requests) in data systems.
Provide weekly metrics/status to NAVSEA and coordinate reviews with sponsors.
