Job summary

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is seeking a Configuration Management Analyst for the NAVAIR program. You will support software configuration, data tracking, and release management to ensure baselines and documentation are properly controlled before government acceptance (DD-250).

Responsibilities include CDRL tracking, adjudication coordination, and administration of Agile tools; you'll collaborate with government engineers and vendors, applying process improvements across CM workflows.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience managing Software Configuration Management (SCM) processes, release coordination, and data management workflows.
• Experience coordinating with government and vendors, and tracking changes across baselines and releases.
• Strong writing and communication skills for program documentation and meeting notes.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support software configuration, data tracking, and release management activities for the PMA-268 Stingray MQ-25A program.
• Coordinate Software CM and DM processes prior to formal government acceptance (DD-250).
• Manage engineering release configurations and baselines, ensuring accessible documentation in government and vendor environments.
• Lead CDRL tracking and adjudication coordination between Government and contractors.
• Provide technical writing support and administer Agile collaboration tools and licenses.
• Identify and implement CM process improvements to reduce administrative friction for the engineering team.
