Job summary

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is seeking a Configuration Management Analyst for the NAVAIR program. You will support software CM/DM, data tracking, release management, and CDRL adjudication, acting as a liaison between government engineering teams and vendors.

The role requires 3+ years in SCM, active DoD Secret clearance, and hands-on experience with Jira/Confluence and Agile tools. A Bachelor's degree in a technical field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance required and US citizen.
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing Software Configuration Management (SCM) processes, release coordination, and data management workflows.
• Experience with requirements tracking, establishing configuration baselines, change control, and release communications with stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence; familiarity with Agile collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Support software configuration management (CM) and data management (DM) processes prior to government acceptance (DD-250).
• Manage engineering release configurations; baselined builds, versions, and documentation across government and vendor environments.
• Lead CDRL tracking and adjudication coordination between Government and contractors; route deliverables to SMEs and close feedback loops.
• Provide technical writing support for program documents, SOPs, meeting minutes, and PI planning artifacts.
• Administer team Agile collaboration tools and manage licenses and access requests; drive process improvements across CM workflows.
