Job summary

Adams Communication & Engineering Technology (ACET), Incorporated seeks a Journeyman Configuration Management Analyst to support the NAS Patuxent River program. You will maintain configuration control over aviation products, datasets, and program platforms, applying CM processes to track modifications and verify engineering documentation to sustain fleet readiness.

The role requires DoD Secret clearance eligibility, a BA/BS, and 3–10 years in CM or data analysis, ideally in a DoD or NAVAIR

Qualifications

• Must possess DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• BA/BS degree from an accredited institution.
• 3–10 years of direct experience in configuration management, technical data management, or program data analysis.
• Familiarity with MIL-HDBK-61A and defense change control workflows.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, and interpret data related to aircraft, components, and programs to maintain configuration control.
• Track configuration changes and maintain configuration status accounting records.
• Coordinate and support Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and ensure alignment across offices and industry partners.
• Apply government processes for documentation control, change management, and technical data management.
• Collaborate with engineering and program management to review modification impacts and support configuration control boards.
