Job summary

Three Saints Bay, LLC is seeking a Naval Shipboard Marine Mechanic to support shipboard mechanical systems in San Diego, CA. The role focuses on propulsion, hydraulics, and HM&E equipment with emphasis on safety and quality.

The candidate will read blueprints, follow Navy procedures, and supervise junior personnel as required. A high school diploma and ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of maritime mechanical systems.
• Navy tag-out, WAF programs, and applicable Naval procedures/instructions.
• Maintain QWI and forms.
• OSHA safety compliance.
• Supervise junior personnel as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical instructions.

Responsibilities

• Know maritime mechanical systems.
• Follow Navy tag-out and WAF programs.
• Maintain required forms (QWI and related).
• Implement and monitor OSHA safety measures.
• Supervise junior personnel as needed.
• Understand HM&E equipment and systems (propulsion, hydraulics).
• Troubleshoot, disassemble, and inspect shipboard mechanical systems.
• Disassemble, clean, inspect, reassemble, and test mechanical systems.
• Know components: valves, bearings, gears, couplings, alignment.
• Read drawings, drafts, and manuals; provide red-line and design recommendations.
