Job summary

Prevailance, Inc. is seeking an Electrician's Mate Contractor Instructor to support the Surface Warfare Engineering Schools Command (SWESC).

The role centers on delivering operational and curriculum support, classroom and lab instruction, and safety management for formal naval training programs. Responsibilities include classroom prep, equipment operation checks, maintenance tasks, inventory control, and documenting discrepancies via formal review processes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of the Navy Instructor Training Course (CIN: A-012-0077) or equivalent instructor training.
• Minimum of three (3) years of technical experience in the subject matter.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a military training environment.
• Knowledge of learning principles, methods of presentation, testing and remediation procedures, curriculum, training aids, and maintenance procedures related to the course.

Responsibilities

• Classroom Preparation: Prepare classrooms, workstations and labs prior to instruction, with equipment set up and materials ready.
• Operational Checks: Verify classroom and lab training equipment and aids are functional and ready for use.
• Equipment Maintenance: Identify deficiencies and submit written recommendations to Training Authority and COR.
• Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of instructional materials and student forms for classes and labs.
• Reporting Discrepancies: Document and report material discrepancies through SWSC/PMS 339/SLC Formal Course Review.
