Job summary

Haka Incorporated is seeking an experienced Production Manager Assistant to support Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam. The role focuses on tracking ship repairs, CASREPs, and coordinating logistic support for Navy vessels, with emphasis on HM&E and naval communications.

The position requires SECRET clearance, strong MS Excel/PowerPoint skills, and ability to liaise with NAVSUP/NAVFAC/NAVSEA. It includes ship checks, basing and berth scheduling, and daily updates to N43 leadership.

Qualifications

• SECRET security clearance required.
• Hands-on experience with US surface ships/vessels (HM&E knowledge).
• Navy experience preferred.
• Must be physically fit for ship checks in an industrial environment.
• Must be fluent in English and able to coordinate repair logistics.

Responsibilities

• Track ship repairs and CASREPs for Hawaii-based and visiting ships.
• Prepare repair status briefings for N43 leadership using email, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Draft and issue naval messages when repair timelines affect maintenance.
• Coordinate scheduling of basing services, berths and barge movements.
• Track parts and shipments to support ship maintenance.
• Liaise with NAVSUP/NAVFAC/NAVSEA and Navy Region support entities.
• Assist in determining optimal repair paths to meet Navy requirements.
• Provide regular updates to MIDPAC N43 Department Head.
