Job summary

Ingalls Shipbuilding, a division of HII, is seeking a project management professional to oversee and coordinate complex shipbuilding programs in Mississippi. You will liaison between project management, planning, and line management, ensuring schedules, budgets, and technical readiness meet program goals.

The role requires knowledge of electrical and C4I systems on LHA Class ships, with strong collaboration across waterfront teams, engineering, and Navy design management.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a high school diploma and 10 years of experience.
• Bachelor's degree with 6 years of experience.
• Master's degree or higher with 4 years of experience.
• Must be able to obtain SECRET clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects.
• Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
• Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and intervention for problem solving.
• Coordinates with Engineering/Design team and Navy Ship Design Management teams to ensure proper integration.
