Job summary

STAHL Companies is seeking an experienced Program Manager to support the Office of Naval Research (ONR), Ocean Battlespace and Expeditionary Access Department (Code 32). The role provides program management, technical coordination, and stakeholder support for Navy and Marine Corps S&T initiatives.

The position requires coordinating with government and industry partners, managing schedules and risks, and helping advance research from discovery to transition.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of program or project management experience, preferably DoD/Navy or federal.
• Experience with S&T, R&D, engineering, or defense programs.
• Experience with Navy/DoD labs, research institutions, or defense contractors.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and deadlines.
• Strong planning, scheduling, risk management, and technical reporting.
• Ability to translate complex technical information into executive briefings.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day program management and technical coordination for ONR S&T programs.
• Plan, execute, monitor, and report milestones, deliverables, and schedules.
• Coordinate with ONR leadership, scientists, engineers, military stakeholders, and industry partners.
• Assist in planning basic to advanced research activities addressing Navy/Marine needs.
• Track program performance, risks, and dependencies; prepare reviews and briefings.
• Support program documentation and technical summaries, and conduct stakeholder engagements.
