Job summary

STAHL Companies seeks an experienced Program Manager to lead technology refresh, prototyping, and system development programs for NUWC Code 70 ranges and undersea systems. You will manage cross-functional teams across engineering, software, IT, testing, and integration, interfacing with government sponsors to meet schedules and performance goals.

This role requires a strong background in DoD/Navy programs, systems engineering, and risk management, with a focus on safety, standards, and cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• DoD or Navy engineering program management experience.
• Experience with systems engineering, software development, testing, and integration.
• Familiarity with undersea warfare systems, range systems, or sensor platforms preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and multiple tasks.
• Experience in RDT&E environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage cost, schedule, and performance across the lifecycle.
• Active or eligible for U.S. Government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage technology refresh, prototyping, and system development programs for NUWC Code 70 ranges, facilities, and undersea warfare systems.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute engineering life-cycle activities from concept development through system delivery, installation, and sustainment.
• Lead cross-functional teams in engineering, software development, IT, testing, and integration services.
• Serve as primary interface with government stakeholders, sponsors, and technical leads.
• Oversee research, analysis, and evaluation of technical approaches, system performance, and cost estimates.
• Manage Testing and Evaluation activities in facility and in-situ environments (air, land, sea).
• Ensure successful prototype, integration, and survivability testing across platforms and networks.
• Monitor program risks, issues, dependencies; develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with DoD, Navy, NUWC standards, safety requirements, and engineering best practices.
• Coordinate analysis related to environmental impacts, including marine species effects from anthropogenic sound.
