Job summary

Amatriot Group is seeking a Project Engineer to contribute to naval refueling efforts at NSWC Carderock. The role leverages a background in electrical engineering or naval architecture to execute technical tasks and support fleet operations.

Responsibilities include scoping, budgeting, and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, with direct interaction with Government sponsors and preparation of briefing materials.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline required.
• 8 years of engineering experience.
• 5 years of experience as a project engineer or program manager.
• 3 years of experience with Navy and/or DoD.
• Experience with financial planning for project execution.
• Strong skills with Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong Excel capabilities for data analysis and financial management.
• Demonstrated interpersonal, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Detail oriented, team player, and good communicator.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
• Translate high-level goals into executable tasks and lead a multidisciplinary team.
• Support planning for funds execution, obligation, and spend plans across multiple performers and projects.
• Communicate with Government sponsors directly.
• Support development of briefing material and project reviews.
• Bridge project planning and technical aspects of projects and programs.
