Job summary

The Amatriot Group is seeking a Project Engineer to support naval refueling efforts at NSWC-Carderock. The role leverages electrical engineering and naval architecture backgrounds to deliver technical tasking for fleet support.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's in engineering, 8+ years in engineering, and 5+ years in project engineering or program management, with Navy/DoD experience and a SECRET clearance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering Discipline.
  • 8+ years of engineering experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as a project engineer or program manager.
  • 3+ years of experience with Navy and/or DoD.
  • Experience with financial planning for project execution.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Strong Excel capabilities for data analysis and financial management.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication and organizational skills.
  • Detail oriented, proactive, team player and good communicator.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparation of project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
  • Assist with creation of high level project goals and objectives, translating those into executable tasks, and leading multi-disciplinary team through task execution.
  • Support planning for fund execution, obligation, and spend plans across multiple performers and projects.
  • Communicate with Government sponsors directly.
  • Support the development of briefing material as well as project and program reviews.
  • Act between the project planning and technical aspects of projects and programs.
