This role provides technical leadership from design and first Article through manufacturing process development, production readiness, and program expansion. The candidate will coordinate engineering, manufacturing, and quality activities to ensure MIL-DTL compliance, strong customer relations, and on-time delivery in

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Materials Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of MIL-DTL component design and first-article qualification experience.
  • Experience taking development and qualification into production-scale manufacturing.
  • Proven ability to manage relationships with technical and program stakeholders.
  • Strong project management with multiple priorities and deliverables.
  • 5+ years of experience manufacturing powder metal components.
  • Experience with PM-HIP and HIP cycle design.
  • Experience with U.S. Navy/DoD or nuclear-related programs.
  • Familiarity with stringent government, defense, and nuclear quality requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Project Manager for development and delivery of Naval components.
  • Develop and execute manufacturing strategies meeting MIL-DTL and specifications.
  • Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, quality, and program activities for on-time delivery.
  • Support process development, optimization, and continuous improvement for critical components.
  • Provide technical leadership in root-cause analysis, qualification, and production problem resolution.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, processes, plans, and project records.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure quality, reliability, and performance.
