Job summary

Naval Nuclear Laboratory is seeking a Project Engineer to coordinate turnover activities across engineers, subcontractors, commissioning stakeholders, and operations. You will support the facility turnover plan, facilitate system walkdowns, ensure turnover documentation meets requirements, and create Power BI turnover metrics while managing progress toward turnover milestones.

This role bridges construction, commissioning, and operations, ensuring timely updates to the turnover SharePoint site,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related technical, engineering, science or construction field with 6+ years of relevant experience;
Master's degree in a related field with 4+ years of relevant experience;
Doctorate in a related field with 1+ year of relevant experience;
Currently a Senior Reactor Training Engineer, Refueling Engineer, or RPCO Engineer at the Company.

Responsibilities

Coordinate turnover activities across engineers, subcontractors, commissioning stakeholders and operations.
Support development and maintenance of the facility turnover plan.
Facilitate system walkdowns and ensure turnover documentation meets requirements.
Create Power BI turnover metrics and manage progress toward milestones.
Bridge construction, commissioning, and operations; update turnover SharePoint with checklists and acceptance docs.
