Naval Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) Subject Matter Expert

Opportunity (Part-Time): Naval Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) Subject Matter Expert

Bottom Line Up Front: Hoplite Group is seeking an experienced Naval MRO SME to support a U.S. Government capacity development program aimed at enhancing maritime sustainment and logistics capabilities of a partner nation.

Location: Remote support (CONUS) and forward engagements (OCONUS) as part of a U.S. government team.

Level of Effort:

1. Pre-Engagement: Approximately 40 hours/month
2. Engagement: Next in-person engagements scheduled for 14–18 July 2025 and 8–12 September 2025, with approximately 80 hours/month during engagement months
3. Post-Engagement: Support as needed

Availability: Immediate

Objective: To support U.S. efforts in developing sustainable naval maintenance and logistics systems through infrastructure, policy, workforce capability, and training improvements. The SME will advise on best practices in sustainment, maintenance, and maritime logistics to enhance readiness and self-sufficiency of partner maritime forces.

1. Maritime processes and support methodologies for MRO
2. Naval shipyard and port operations experience
3. Maritime logistics and sustainment best practices
4. Maritime supply chain management
5. Maritime procurement and modernization planning
6. Logistics training and certification programs
7. U.S. Secret Security clearance is required
