Job summary

Serco Inc. in the Washington, DC area is seeking a data analyst/engineering support role to support NAVSEA programs, analyze data, and coordinate with contractors and leadership.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance, a high school diploma with 4+ years experience, strong MS Excel and PowerPoint, and ability to travel up to 10%. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential.

You will develop briefs for senior leadership and support maintenance and modernization initiatives.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• High School Diploma with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Work experience may be adjusted for highly specialized knowledge or uniquely applicable experience.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications, specifically MS Excel and PowerPoint is required.
• A motivated, self-starter with excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills as demonstrated by previous work experience is required.
• A strong customer service orientation is required.
• The ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, validate, and present data for cross-organization processes and policy improvements/initiatives for upgrades and maintenance initiatives.
• Monitor maintenance and modernization program objectives, tracking deliverables, and coordinating with technical experts on equipment performance issues.
• Conduct data analysis and use of advanced technology to support new equipment installation to display to leadership so they can make informed resourcing decisions.
• Provide interoperability engineering, analysis, and technical guidance for maintenance programs and external capability integration and interface design efforts between NAVSEA contractors supporting these efforts.
• Support program reviews and recommend improvements to production and programmatic deficiencies.
• Provides engineering support and continuous analysis between major ship maintenance periods to ensure they reach their expected service life
• Develop and organize briefs for presentation to senior leadership and decision makers
