Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions, LLC seeks a Subject Matter Expert (HF/UHF communication equipment) based in Chesapeake, VA, with travel required to support NIWC-LANT Atlantic In Service Engineering Agency ISEA. The role covers on-site depot-level support, system operation, configuration, maintenance, overhaul, and configuration management.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing Navy radio systems (DMR/ARC-210), supporting shipboard communications, and providing system engineering

Qualifications

• We require a self-starter capable of independent work and strong problem-solving.
• Good oral and written communication skills, with ability to interact with customers and partners.
• Ability to organize, prioritize work, and manage time effectively.
• Willingness to travel CONUS/OCONUS and work extended hours including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to diagnose, repair, and overhaul Navy HF/UHF communication equipment.
• Operate, maintain, repair, and overhaul US Navy communications equipment.
• Support repair alignment and maintenance activities.
• Demonstrate strong customer service when interfacing with prime customers and partners.
• Support Litoral Combat Ships Exterior communication line of sight and SATCOM requirements.
