Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions is seeking an In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) SME to provide technical, engineering, and lifecycle support for external communications systems. Based in Chesapeake, VA, this role emphasizes operational readiness, reliability, and maintainability across the system lifecycle.

Qualifications

Must be a U.S. Citizen with SECRET clearance.
Minimum 10 years of experience in DOD/Navy communications.
Expertise with VHF, UHF and HF radio systems and ancillary equipment.
Willingness to travel CONUS/OCONUS and work flexible hours.
Experience with shipboard communication centers is preferred.

Responsibilities

System maintenance and support for radio communications hardware and software.
Technical troubleshooting, diagnosing failures and repairing issues.
Configuration management, updating firmware and network parameters.
Lifecycle management, tracking age, upgrades, and modernization needs.
Performance monitoring, coverage analysis, and reliability reporting.
Training and technical support for operators and maintenance staff.
