Job summary

Core Services Group in Dahlgren, VA seeks an Operational Fleet Reachback Support Specialist to provide expert analytic and operational reach-back support for RFIs/RFAs from COCOMs, NFCs, SMWDC, and fleet stakeholders.

You will monitor ongoing operations, assess threats, and develop validated responses to support timely naval decisions and updates to TACMEMOs, OPTASKs and related publications in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience supporting operational Navy or Joint operations.
• Experience producing analytic products in response to RFIs/RFAs with QA/validation.
• Knowledge of fleet operations monitoring and casualty reporting (CASREPs).
• Familiarity with TACMEMO, OPTASK, JPs, NWPs, NTTP publications.
• Strong analytical writing and clear communication in time-sensitive environments.
• Ability to coordinate with government, warfare centers, labs, and fleet stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytic support for RFIs/RFAs addressing threats and weapon employment.
• Evaluate and coordinate recommendations with technical and operational orgs.
• Develop, edit, and verify RFI/RFA response products for accuracy.
• Augment reach-back cells for 24/7 surge support during emergent ops.
• Monitor fleet operations: tasking, schedules, readiness, casualties.
• Support OR methodologies for AW, BMD, MIW, SUW mission areas.
• Develop and update TACMEMO, OPTASKs, Battle Orders, and related docs.
• Review and update doctrine: JPs, NWPs, NTTP.
