Tech Wizards, Inc. in Dahlgren, VA is seeking a seasoned operations research analyst to provide analytic support for RFIs/RFAs, threat assessments, and weapons employment changes.

You will evaluate, edit, and verify response products and coordinate recommendations with NAVSEA, JHU/APL, and NAWDC to sustain 24/7 surge support for emergent or combat operations. The ideal candidate has 12+ years in military or DoD environments, five years aboard Navy ships, and a current SECRET clearance with

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience supporting operational-level Navy or Joint operations, including reach-back support.
• Experience producing analytic products in response to RFIs/RFAs with drafting and validation.
• Knowledge of fleet operations monitoring, tasking, and casualty reporting (CASREPs).
• Familiarity with TACMEMO, OPTASK, JPs, NWPs, NTTP and ability to support updates.
• Strong analytical writing skills and ability to communicate clearly in time-sensitive environments.
• Ability to coordinate with government, warfare centers, labs, and fleet stakeholders.
• Current SECRET clearance with TS/SCI eligibility.
• 12+ years of military/government experience in surface navy combat systems and related areas.
• 5 years of experience aboard Navy cruisers/destroyers or equivalent DoD warfare areas.
• Qualified TAO/AW-C2/BMC watch experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytic support for reach-back requirements to answer RFIs/RFAs and address threat assessments.
• Evaluate, assess, and coordinate recommendations with technical and operational organizations.
• Develop, edit, modify, validate, and verify RFI/RFA response products for accuracy.
• Augment reach-back cells to support 24/7 surge operations on emergent or combat tasks.
• Review Fleet operations including schedules, requirements, training, and casualty reports.
• Provide Operations Research expertise to support Navy mission areas: AW, BMD, MIW, SUW.
• Develop doctrine and tactics publications and related operational guidance as required.
