Job summary

A. Harold & Associates is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support the H-53 variants program at NAS Patuxent River.

You will perform quantitative financial and investment analyses to optimize program funding streams, track execution data, and evaluate budgets while ensuring regulatory compliance across Navy appropriations.

The role requires strong Excel skills, DoD clearance, and experience with Navy ERP to translate metrics into actionable status reports for leadership.

Qualifications

• Must possess a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• BA or BS degree from an accredited institution.
• 3 to 10 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, budget tracking, or data-driven asset management.
• Hands-on proficiency with Navy ERP (NERP) for financial tracking and reporting.
• Knowledge of DoN appropriation types and federal procurement cycles.
• Strong quantitative and analytical reasoning, advanced Excel skills, and precise professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct data-driven quantitative analyses of financial information, asset structures, and funding trends for the acquisition office.
• Formulate, monitor, and manage detailed program spend plans, tracking milestones against commitments and expenditures.
• Evaluate Navy appropriation types (APN, RDT&E, O&M,N) to guarantee regulatory compliance and optimal funding alignment.
• Utilize defense enterprise systems to input, extract, and reconcile financial data and translate metrics into status reports for leadership.
• Assess accounting reports for completeness, flag variances or execution anomalies, and assist in constructing resourceallocation forecasts.
