Job summary

ACET, Incorporated seeks a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support the H-53 variants program at NAS Patuxent River. You will perform quantitative financial and investment analysis to optimize program funding streams and ensure fiscal compliance, directly impacting the lifecycle capabilities of naval heavy-lift aviation assets.

You will serve as a key technical operator, using defense accounting frameworks to track execution data, evaluate program budgets, and produce status reports for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (BA/BS).
• 3–10 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, budget tracking, or data-driven asset management.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• Hands-on experience with Navy ERP (NERP) and DoN appropriation types.

Responsibilities

• Conduct data-driven quantitative analyses of financial information and funding trends affecting acquisition programs.
• Formulate, monitor, and manage detailed program spend plans and track milestones against commitments and expenditures.
• Evaluate Navy appropriation types (APN, RDT&E, O&M,N) to ensure regulatory compliance and optimal funding alignment.
• Use defense enterprise systems to input, extract, and reconcile financial data and generate actionable status reports for leadership.
• Assess accounting reports, flag variances, and assist in constructing resource allocation forecasts.
